About Me
I was inspired to become an audiologist watching my father overcome his hearing deficits with successful hearing aid use. I got to see first-hand the impact his hearing loss had on him as well as our whole family, and the immense difference it made for him to use hearing devices. I wish to have a similarly positive impact on those suffering with hearing loss. Everybody facing the challenges of hearing loss needs and deserves to have a professional they trust to guide them through treatment. I aspire to be that resource.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, I took an indirect path to audiology and it all has served me as a clinician. After earning a BA in Mathematics from Williams College in Williamstown, MA, I moved to Europe where I enjoyed working in the Swiss Alps as a Summer Camp Counselor, a Custom Ski Boot Expert, and a Teacher of Math and Science at the American School in Switzerland (TASIS). Upon returning to the US I pivoted into healthcare and found a calling helping people like my father improve their hearing. I am grateful to have received world-class training from Vanderbilt University Medical School, the #1 audiology program in the country, and I completed my clinical fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. I began my professional career at the Stanford Ear Institute in 2015 and moved my practice to Los Gatos Audiology in 2022.
I have developed a reputation for delivering patient-centered care with honesty, integrity, and compassion. My varied life experiences have helped me build authentic relationships with patients. This in turn, allows me to help them reach their listening goals, maintain communication with loved ones, and stay engaged in all aspects of their lives.
Outside of my passion for patient care, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our son, cheering for local sports teams, enjoying game nights, and exploring the great outdoors. I also occasionally moonlight as a piano bar entertainer.
